We use the following third-party services to provide our features:

Anthropic Claude AI

• Purpose: Read and extract structured data (merchant, amount, date, category) from receipt images and PDFs
• Data Shared: Receipt images and PDF documents are sent to Anthropic's servers for processing
• Data Retention: Anthropic does not use API data to train their models and does not retain data beyond the API request

Firebase (Google)

• Purpose: Authentication and file storage (receipt images)
• Data Shared: Email address, user ID, receipt images

Your data belongs to you. Here's how long we keep it:

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after you request deletion
• Your Financial Records: Retained while your account is active; you can delete individual records at any time
• Your Receipt Images: Retained while your account is active; deleted when you delete the associated expense

You have full control over your data:

Access and Portability

• View all your data within the App anytime
• Export your data as Excel files for your own use

Correction

• Edit any of your expense, income, or tax deduction records
• Update your profile information at any time

Deletion

• Delete any of your individual records at any time directly in the App
• Request complete account deletion: Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your Loonie Logs account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.

The App is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
